Starting today we recognize Secret Path week,  which was created to support the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Foundation. As we celebrate the importance of diversity and recognize that we all belong, we want to take a moment and remember the words that Gord shared about the value of diversity:
We should all know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value. We are all important and play a huge part in making our school and community an amazing place to be!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving weekend. There is no school Friday, October 11 and on Monday, October 14.

Last year, thanks to the recycling efforts of OES, over 250,000 recyclable containers were kept out of landfills. OES was awarded these flowers as recognition of this amazing and inspiring achievement.
